I love that Wei Wuxian thinking Lan Wangji is hilarious isn’t like. A fluke or him being blinded by love or whatever. Lan Wangji is shown to have this really interesting, sneaky sense of humor. He’s so deadpan and subtle and underhanded about his jokes and while obviously not everybody enjoys that sort of humor I personally do honestly think he’s hilarious! But the thing about his sense of humor is that you need to be paying attention. Lan Wangji’s jokes don’t draw attention to themselves — usually they’re for just him, he’s entertaining himself first and foremost, but Wei Wuxian came along and actually paid attention and saw what Lan Wangji was doing and went “wait a minute this guys a riot actually” and that’s so!!! Good!!! It’s so good.

WangXian AU where Wei Wuxian buys a used car that has a GPS but that GPS is stuck on an address he doesn’t know and doesn’t pop up when he looks for it online. So, like you would, he decides to go to that location. Lan Wangji goes with him, of course, to make sure Wei Wuxian isn’t about to get himself killed somehow. And they make a day of it. It turns out the GPS was the location of a bunny field that the old owner used to go to all the time.

At first I thought the GPS address was the car’s previous owner (Lan Wangji)’s private address and they’d have their first meeting when Wei Ying shows up at his door to ask about the GPS

That’s also an AMAZING idea. And Lan Wangji who was in the middle of making food, opens the door wearing an apron with bunnies all over it, subtle confusion in his eyes. Wei Wuxian nearly loses his mind at the mixture of hot and cute that’s suddenly in front of him.

Lan Wangji ends up inviting him in for lunch/dinner.

My favorite part of Guanyin Temple is still the part when JGY is trying to get under WWX’s skin and he’s like “Ooh, does it sting that Jiang Cheng showed up to rescue Jin Ling and not you?” and WWX is just confused and he’s like “Why the hell would Jiang Cheng care about rescuing ME?” and you watch JGY decide that he does NOT understand what’s going on there and he moves on to bothering someone whose neuroses he actually knows
